Is There Anywhere Left to Photograph?

The abundance of cameras and the ever-increasing ways we can travel on this planet leads me to wonder – is there anything we haven’t taken a photograph of yet?

We’ve been to the highest point on land, I guess it’s the bed of the ocean that’s still keeping mysteries from us which is why any new discovery feels like it needs to be accompanied by photographic evidence.

But where else, apart from the oceans are left to explore on Earth? I love perusing on Google Maps for locations that look miles from civilization and then trying to find photos of it to see what it looks like. It’s the ‘seeing the rarely seen’ is where I get my kicks.

Even though all landmass has been identified, it’s never fully explored. From the Eastern plains of the Russian peninsula to the Southern tip of Patagonia, there are places less traveled I’d love to see more of.

Moving into being a travel photographer would be a dream role, provided there were some woodland adventures on the way ;-)

Imagine getting the feeling you’re capturing a view for the first time with your camera, sharing it online, and giving someone else the experience of wanderlust. That’s motivating.

Where are those unexplored places though? Where would you like to step foot for the first time in civilization’s history with your camera?
