What’s Included?
A 4-hour private workshop (Saturday or Sunday only) focused on either landscape, nature or urban photography. It’s an ideal way to improve your motivation & creative thinking and learn more about your camera and photo techniques.
After booking your workshop a full itinerary sheet will be sent with your confirmation email to give you the exact location and what to bring along. I’ll arrange a date and time to meet that suit your needs.

I’m a Total Beginner, is this Suitable?
Yes, absolutely. It doesn’t matter whether you’ve been taking photos for years or days there is still something new that you can learn. Photography is multi dimensional. It’s not just about learning how to use a camera, but why you point it at things and how. That is creative arm of photography which has endless possibilities. Whether you want to become more confident with your camera or learn what makes a great story then a workshop is the best place to start.
What Will I Learn?
Every workshop is based on your needs and not a prepared agenda. This is why when you book your workshop I’ll ask you to fill in a form to tell me about yourself as a photographer. The aim is to learn about what you feel confident with and where you’d like to improve. It could understanding your camera’s functions, learning about composition or simply having a reassuring voice at your side to make sure you’re not going wrong.
I Don’t Have an Expensive Camera, is it Worth it?
You can take a good photo with an iPhone these days, so yes, as long as you have a camera, it’s worth it. None of my own camera equipment is super-expensive, that’s down to my photo-philosophy seeing the camera as a tool and not the artist. I can teach you how to take a striking photo when you book a workshop.
Do You Offer Workshop Outside the North West?
Being based in the North West of England it’s more feasible for me to offer 1-2-1 photography workshops in this region. This allows me to keep costs down for you. I’ve had photographers from all parts of the UK travel to the North West for a workshop, but if that’s not suitable for you get in touch and I can give you a detailed quote for wherever you are in the world.
